About Us:

Sven is an IT consultant running his own business (http://sven.eriksen.com.au/) and
Janet is a Relationship Counsellor running a private practice (http://janet.eriksen.com.au/).
We have two sons, who can assist if required, and we have four beautiful grandchildren (two Chinese and two Italian).

Our Homelink Experience:

We are members of Homelink since 2005 with a number of successful exchanges behind us (Brisbane, Perth, Vienna, Salzburg, Cologne and Copenhagen, just to name a few).
On that basis, we have decided that home exchanging is a great way to spend our retirement.
We love classical music and always dream of a European exchange next, ideally in Austria or Germany.
We hope to be able to attend many more performances in some of the great concert halls and opera houses of Europe.

Our Location:

We live in the southern Australian state of Victoria, in the locality of Glen Waverley on the
Eastern side of Melbourne, approximately 20 km from the city centre.
Regular bus services come to within 50 meters of our house, or, if you prefer,
it takes 15 minutes to walk to a large shopping centre and the train station.

Our Car:

Distances in Australia are enormous, which makes it imperative to have access to a reliable vehicle.

Our car is an Australian-built very comfortable 2005 Ford Falcon large station wagon, including the following features:
automatic transmission, air-conditioning, cruise control, power steering, power windows, central locking, etc.
The car will comfortably seat five people and has a large rear compartment for luggage.
It drives on liquid petroleum gas (LPG) with unleaded petrol (ULP) as a reserve.

Our House (on the outside):

Our house is a bungalow. Not big, not small, just right for us plus the occasional visitors.
We are very capable do-it-yourselfers and therefore our house is in perfect working order inside and out.

Our home is Scandinavian in style with comfortable, good-quality furniture and many useful facilities.

Kitchen:

Our kitchen is modern, well-equipped and very functional.

Dining Areas:

Dining area on open air balcony (roller shutters open)

Formal dining area next to Kitchen

Music Room:

We are passionate music lovers. One end of our Music Room with grand piano and our string instruments.

The other end of our Music Room (card table can also be used for playing Bridge)

Bathroom:

Our bathroom has a luxury shower (large enough for two) and a granite-top vanity unit on the opposite wall.

Bedroom:
